Ideal Candidate Profile

QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive, and well-organized full-time 2nd Shift Production Supervisor responsible for supervising Production Employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position will be working 2pm - 11pm.

 

Job Summary

Staff Supervision

  • Responsible for personnel activities of direct reports including; staffing, training, performance evaluations, and career development including setting employee objectives linked to business initiatives and other key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations. Consult with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
  • Resolve employee issues and ensure effective employee relations are maintained.

Production Management and Planning Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage the cleanroom and assembly activities to fulfill sales orders and deliver manufactured products in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate efforts between departments to ensure jobs run smoothly once released to Manufacturing.

Documentation Responsibilities

  • Oversee timely completion and correctness of manufacturing paperwork. Assist with error reduction tasks with a focus on improving quality.
  • Make recommendations for Manufacturing Procedure improvements and collaborate on document updates.            

Other Responsibilities  

  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work continuously to improve in all areas.
  • Familiarization with, and train staff on, Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

 

Skills and Experience

  • High school education.
  • Supervisory or Leadership experience.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
  • Proficient computer skills in ERP software and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of traceability requirements.
  • Assembly or manufacturing experience and cleanroom experience.
  • Knowledge or training pertaining to FDA, cGMP, and ISO regulations.
