Job Summary

This position is responsible for the packaging and assembly of medical devices. Must be willing to train, and work, in one or more of the following areas: Label Generation, Cleaning & Passivation, Testing of Medical Device Packaging. Previous Medical Device experience required.

 

Job Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Inspect, assemble and package medical devices and components.
  • Use tray, band and impulse sealers.
  • Work with chemicals (solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work area and components.
  • Perform various types of testing on device packaging.
  • Responsible for proper documentation necessary to complete job.
  • Assist in cleaning/passivation, label printing, weekly cleaning of production areas and common spaces, and other duties, as needed. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are handled and assembled per QTS Quality Systems Procedures.
  • Adhere to cGMP and ISO regulations.
  • Maintain awareness of workplace safety and relevant training.

 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday).
  • Ability to read, understand and speak English.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Experience in a cleanroom environment & ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.
  • Assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge or training pertaining to cGMP and ISO regulations.
